My Mom saw the other purses that I made and asked me to make her a purse for Mother's Day. She has never asked for a purse before so I was really excited to make her one. We went to the store and she picked out the fabrics. I thought they were very pretty. I told her I wouldn't get the zippers in on time but I did (thank you zipit zippers!) and was able to have it finished and surprise her.  Grin
I gave it to her about an hour ago and she was surprised and really liked it.

The wall is light blue so it makes the colors a little weird.

Here is the outside pocket with the magnetic snaps.

Outside in the garden, liked the colors better out here.

and with the straps down...

I already have my next bag picked out. I can't wait to do another pattern. LOL!
 Thanks for looking.  Smiley

What a beautiful purse! I've been looking for a new purse for myself and this just might be the Right One for me :-D
Would you mind sharing which pattern you used for it?

I love the fabrics too (I'm kind of a sucker for batiks)

Great gift!

Got the pattern from Annie's Catalog. It's called "A Cute Bag" and it's by Wonder Woman Quilts. The pattern has different fabrics above and below the zipper so it will look a little different. I thought keeping the fabrics the same looked cleaner.
Post up if you make it! I would love to see it. This pattern could be made to look so many different ways.  Cheesy

That is so gorgeous! Funny how the colours look so different against that blue wall. I'm looking up that site now, I think I'd like a new bag for myself...
