The three  cardboard boxes were holiday clearance for 25-50 cents, and covered in either red or green glitter and sequins. I ripped  off the plastic holly, spray painted a base coat, did several layers blending acrylic paints and also some rub n buff, then added ribbons and doodads.

I should have taken a before picture of this-it was made from clear red plastic, and said merry christmas! Added the heavy spring at the top, various doodads, two receipt tape rolls and an old film canister.

Thank you! They were cheap wonky cardboard to start with, and bumpy from the sequins, so I  rolled with it. Texture, baby, texture.

Well, I'm in a couple of local comic conventions where I'll have both rayguns and slightly steampunky stuff, so they'll go with me there, to see what  happens. And thanks!
