I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

The Queen of Snark hosted a Snarky Housewives Swap and this is what I came up with for my wonderful partner, thisbirdsabsurd.

There is a dial on the side that rotates the snarkism inside the frame. Here's what they say:

another day in paradise
she couldn't remember...was it one teaspoon of arsenic or two?
I believe the word you are searching for is "divine"
why yes, I am overqualified

And the back, which try as I might, I absolutely could not make a dial that both rotated and covered that exposed area of the frame. There is also a button over the brad, but if you want to see that (and all of the brilliant things in the gallery so far), you gotta go HERE. Make yourself a drink first. All the recipes you need are in HERE and HERE

Love the dial idea. I'm sure the gallery for the swap is going to be intense!

Isn't it the best?  I'm having my coffee next to it right now, turning the dial and appreciating all the snarky quotes.  Thanks PM!

That is really cool with the dial! A perfect way to adapt it for your mood every day (beware the days she chooses the arsenic quote!). I love the dough and cookie cutter, too. Now to go look at all your links...

I must have Alice in Wonderland on the brain, because the first thing I thought of when I read "snark" was Lewis Carroll's "The Hunting of the Snark", rather than someone actually being snarky. Tongue

Anyhoo, beautiful piece.  The interactive dial was a great idea and the overall motif/design is wonderful, particularly the vintage feel the artwork gives it.
