Hello people !

Here is my first attempt at punch needle, I wasn't sure about the result but I think it came out ok (if we forget about the yellow ears...)
I finished the edges with the sewing machine, next time with more patience it will be great  Grin

(Before cutting the little threads)

Thanks for watching !

It looks great! I was just talking to someone who was trying this for the first time. Any tips you can give us?

Now that's fun!  What cool pattern to do in punch needle. My neighbour has a ton of that stuff she never uses anymore. I wonder if she'd be willing to sell it to me... *inspiration!*

I have watched punch needle before, but I don't think I could do it well. You did a great job with this one. He looks to be a bit happy and scary, all at the same time.

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.

Thanks everyone ! About the pattern, my fiance deserves all the credit =) This is an old drawing he made years ago and he now uses it as his avatar (I just had to whine for a lineart because I'm lazy.)

Kittykill : I made a few mistakes with this one so yes, I've got a few tips =) The most important is, when you change color, leave a space a bit larger than usual between the two rows. The threads tend to mix if you make small stitches and it looks really messy for the small parts like the eyes.
It's better too to begin with these small parts then fill the large blank spaces, it's easier than filling tiny free spaces. Also, start from the edges and work in circles getting closer to the center (but this one is written on the box when you buy the punch needle)
Hope it will work for you !
