Does the super sculpy harden? Do you have to bake it? Or spray it with something?  My brain cannot comprehend how you did this

You bake it. I sculpted the head over a ball (roughly) of aluminum foil and baked it that way. I removed the foil once the head had cooled and glued it to the top of the neck and then stitched it down.

We have okapi at the OKC, OK zoo.  They are a favorite of both myself, and at one time, my boys.  They used to be able to come to the fence, and you could touch them.  The zoo remedied that situation real quick, by building another fence around the previous fence. Okapi are actually related to giraffes, and were only discovered like 50yrs? ago I believe.  They are shy creatures that live deep in the rain forest, and have oily coats to protect against the rain.  We also have a tapir at the OKC, OK zoo.  There was an unfortunate incident between a zoo keeper and said tapir.
Joyfully Yours, Susannah
