Hi, everyone

A friend of mine just gave me a bunch of patterns for Gene dolls.  The outfits are gorgeous, but the little ones in my family play with Barbies.  I've made Barbie clothes before, but Gene is a significantly larger doll.  Is there a way to alter the Gene patterns to fit Barbie?  I'm not having any luck finding any info on how to do this on the Internet.  Does anyone know how to alter them, or know of a website that has info on it?  Thanks!   Smiley

This is a very complicated method, but it's probably the best one for what you need.

There are also some charts you can google that say what percentage to copy the patterns for certain doll sizes (such as Barbie to American Girl and so on).  I don't have access to a certain doll forum anymore so I'm afraid I can't get a link for you.

Thank you, amigurl55. It does look involved, and math-heavy. I know a teeny bit about patternmaking for people, so I think I might give it a try anyway. TY, again!  Smiley
