I was super excited to craft for ChameleonHound in the BBC Swap last summer. We met at college in 2006, before either of us joined craftster! I knew I had to make something epic.

I already had the base shirt for this dress in my stash, and given CH's fondness for mixing themes, knew she would love it.

These are pictures of me in the dress before I sent it - I made it for CH's measurements, and it fit me pretty well too!

It was all constructed with a mixture of serging and hand sewing (also accidentally cutting through things I wanted and being consoled by my partner).

Dresses with pockets FTW.

The rest of the materials are thrift store t-shirts, in TARDIS-y colors. Twirly!

And here is ChameleonHound's picture from the gallery:

She said I got the fit just right!

Im not crazy about reality, but its still the only place to get a decent meal-Groucho Marks

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

This is so cute and twirly!

This is the BESTEST DRESS EVAR. I love it so much, and it's extremely comfortable, and the yellow trim between the bodice and the skirt makes me feel like a superhero because of the way it's cut. And pockets rule!!! Oh, and it fits perfectly even though it was crafted a few hundred miles away!

Whatever happened to the ongoing hoopla swaps?
