'Ugly Baby Quilt' #2 is finished!  This is my 6th finished project this year - and my closet has never been cleaner Smiley  Actually, I really like how this one turned out (especially the quilting).  Any way, I've got one more "Ugly Baby Quilt" to finish and then I'll be rid of them.

I like it! The color isn't my cup of tea, but the design and quilting are very nice.

I agree, the color/fabric pattern just weren't right for this quilt pattern/design.  That's why I decided to just finished them off and not worry about whether I like them.  It's also been a good lesson for me - how to pick the right pattern with the right fabric print and fabric color.  I'm definitely not skilled in this, but I'm hoping to get better.  Also a lesson in machine quilting - since I don't care so much for the project, I won't be heart broken if the quilting is awful too.

I'm almost done hand quilting the 3rd of my 'ugly baby quilt' series.  Orginally, they were all supposed to be part of one quilt, but after I made the blocks (minus the one in the center of each baby quilt) I decided they just didn't work and began trying to salvage the project by turning it into something else.
