Krafty_Karasu - I love your Lord Canti cross stitch my mum cross stitches but it takes her about 3 years to complete one, they take a lot of time but it looks amazing.

thank you.  Smiley

I don't think I could ever get myself into a project that takes me that long.  I go crazy doing ones that take months.  XD

Oh boy, I haven't posted in a while, and there's so much lovely stuff going on. I'll try to do a tracking report tomorrow.
We had a huge project at work that threatened to swallow me whole, but it made due with just eating up most of my waking hours this week (don't worry, I get paid for all that time it ate, so it's not all bad).
Anyway, here's my first submission for this round.

Battle/Challenge: March - Friendship is Magic
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: None
Project Name: little hands, little rings, big hearts
Brief Description: My nieces are some of my favorite customers. They are always polite when requesting things, always interested to see what I'm making, and such a joy to watch as they happily show off whatever new piece of jewelry I made them. I got a few requests for rings, so I got their measurements and whenever I had a bit of time, I made a ring. They take about 20 minutes each, and the project is super portable, making it a perfect train project. I made over 15 rings and let them pick and choose in our last family gathering. MY daughter also got a couple of rings. Although they don't meet often my daughter and my nieces are very good friends, so I think this fits the prompt nicely.

I have some entries for March as well as a research proposal.

Battle/Challenge: March Luck of the Irish
Team: Wordy
Bonus points: n/a
Project Name: St Patrick's Day cardigan
Description: I made this cardigan using a green variated yarn for a baby born on St Patrick's Day

Battle/Challenge: March Friendship is Magic
Team: Wordy
Bonus points: n/a
Project Name: Pretty in Pink Cardigan
I made this as a gift for a friend's baby shower

Battle/Challenge: March Battle - Color
Team: Wordy
Bonus points: n/a
Project Name: spring colors cardigan
I knitted up this cardigan using a pretty variated yarn.

Battle/Challenge: March Flash Mob
Team: Wordy
Bonus points: n/a
Project Name: spring peach cardigan
Spring should be on its way soon, so I knitted up this cardigan in a spring color.

And I have a research proposal too...
Battle/Challenge: Research Proposal
Team: Wordy
Bonus points: n/a
Project Name: Very pink afghan
I am going to be knitting an afghan in multiple shades of pink.
My time frame for this is as follows:
Week 1: Chart out each square, determine how many I need, and make swatches to determine gage as I will be using lots of different brands of yarn, so I will be making a swatch for each ball of yarn to ensure uniformity in size.
Week 2: start knitting the plain squares.
Week 3: Continue with the plain squares and hopefully finish those ones.
Week 4: Start on the squares that will include intarsia designs.
Week 5: Start on the squares that will have fair isle designs.
Week 6 & 7: Finish the squares.
Week 8: Block the squares.
Week 9: Join the squares (the most tedious part).
