I received my sunshine from belladune last night, but the pictures I took were crap due to the lack of natural light, so I waited until this morning to post pictures after having some actual sunshine show up to help exhibit the awesomeness of the sunny box goodness.

Here is a picture of *almost* everything (one thing is too awesome and amazing to be shown in any way other than on it's own!):

Some of the loveliness in this photo includes some delicious tea (which I broke into last night... lemon ginger, yum!), that awesome saki cup, which I haven't decided if I want to transition to my teacup stash immediately, or use as a container for a candle first, the ribbon... which is particularly apt, because I was planning on buying some random yellow ribbons to make a sun pillow for my son to go with the cloud that I just made him, the pretty beads, some adorable little crochet motifs which will likely end up on a tote bag, the homemade pincushion in the little flowered jar, and coasters... I'm constantly losing coasters because my baby takes them, so they are always useful.

Now, some closeups of my favorites:

These are some pretty little affirmations, which I will find a super secret place for, so I can pull them out to remind myself of my own awesomeness on those really rough days.

Absolutely gorgeous necklace... yes, I did in fact plan my outfit around this necklace today, thank you.  It's yarn wrapped washers and some wire wrapping.  Totally organic, but still edgy.  Very much my style, and the yellow and grey combo is one of my favorites.

And finally.... the piece de resistance:

Handspun yarn!  EEEEEEE!  I'm always asking for handspun yarn, but never receiving it, so I was totally excited when she offered and have been squirming to receive since.  I would have been totally happy to just receive this, but the rest of the package put it over the top.  I can't wait to dig into this with some needles.  Whatever I make (I'm leaning toward a loosely knit, open work scarf) will be for me and me alone.  I'm going to be a selfish little knitter and no one can tell me otherwise.  I love it so much.  Thank you, thank you, thank you, belladune.  I am humbled and happy, and filled with sunny joy.

My partner received last week and I'm sure is super busy. I didn't take pictures of the extras but here are a few things I made her.

A set of sunny duck tea towels.

A washi tape shadowbox

And a key fob.

I'm bummed that I didn't take pictures of the extras. I found this cute Japanese yellow deer box for her.

Those duck towels will put a smile on your face in the coldest of winter!

Also, I have never seen washi tape used like that! Great job...very cheerful!

My sunshine came! alteredmommy made me a box of sunshine that couldn't be more perfect for me. I tore off the packaging to reveal...

An orange polkadot DVD sized storage box packed to the brim with sunshine!

My daughter and I started pulling out one thing after another, laughing and oohing and ahhing.
There was this beautiful knit cowl. I wish I would have gotten a close up of the yarn, because it has these tiny sparkly sequins all over it. I wore it to school yesterday and got a ton of compliments.

There were these awesome orange and turquoise fabric coiled hot pads and an orange fabric coiled bowl. These are for my orange and turquoise Craftster kitchen. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and love being surrounded by stuff from swaps.

Here's a side view of the bowl with the cute buttons.

Extras included this fabulous yarn, displayed on the bottom of the storage box, where alteredmommy pasted this gorgeous paper.

And a craft load of other stuff!!! Paper straws, tea in a cool pyramid, lip balm disguised as a bear, a beeswax candle, soap, snacks, emergen-C, one of those cute little yarn dolls, and a lemonade scented marker! She also handed down a book on collage. We will have fun with that.

But, the one I've been saving for last is this amazing little sign that says "Every little thing is gonna be alright". I have these lyrics tattooed on my arm, and this is basically my  mantra.

thank you so much, alteredmommy for my box of sunshined!!!
