Ever since I bought a book of Harry Potter stamps last year, I've been envisioning that ATC.  So glad I got to claim nisforneville for the theme!

I have to say, I am really proud of my cards so far this round.  The first time I did this swap a few months ago, I was too nervous to draw most of my cards, because there are a lot of immensely talented people who participate in these swaps, and I was afraid someone would feel "gipped" by getting something hand-drawn from me.  I have never, ever considered myself strong in drawing, but this round I let all that baggage go and just decided to have fun with it.  And the great thing is, every time I've finished a card this round, I've surprised myself at how well it came out!

I feel very thankful that I'm able to participate in a swap like this, where everyone is friendly and grateful for what they receive, and use it as an opportunity to develop my artistic abilities.  You guys are the best!  Cheesy

My_RubySlippers - the pterodactyl is just adorable!

vincentvanbuck, I totally feel the same way!  Although I do still have artist anxiety with every card I send, I just do my best and cross my fingers that the recipient will appreciate my 'charming' (as I like to describe poorly done art that had a lot of effort put into it) work.   Grin  Plus, the bonus is that we get to collect art from all these wonderfully talented artists!  Love your HP card btw.

Case in point (about collecting awesome artists work),  I received this awesome atc from KittyHerman!  She chose artists choice, but it's exactly what I would have wanted if I had know that I wanted it!  It's Slimer!  I grew up on these movies and cartoons, and they have a huge amount of nostalgia for me.  Mostly it reminds me of my little brother who passed away over 10 years ago.  Thanks KittyHerman, I love this more than you ever could have imagined!

Could this be the start of a series?  Hmmm....

Received form KittyHerman today. She chose to surprise me from my list of themes. She ended up going with my owl theme and used water color and ink.

    Titled "Brilliant Owl"

She also sent a lovely owl greeting card.

    Thanks so much!  Grin

You all will not believe the ATCs I got today. I am a lucky swapper.

This one(these?) is from kosmicgirl. Any card from her is a treasure, but this. I almost feel bad keeping it. So glad someone else loves Gravity Falls like I do. It's Dipper's book. Like, the whole book, practically. Amazeballs. I'm speechless.

How cool is that???!1 Guys, she drew all of that by hand! So very kind of you to part with such a creation, kosmicgirl!
