I received my first one for Feb from My_RubySlippers.The topic was carousels, and she actually sent me a carousel inside my ATC. Holy cats! Based on a book called The Night Circus, which I will now have to read ASAP. Mind boggling talent, RubySlippers!

Tiny pop up carousel:

subject - Favorite Childhood Stuffie

Here is the pterodactyl she had since birth. Isn't he adorable? I love love love how she stitched him as opposed to a drawing. Such a wonderful depiction.
thanks so much, My_RubySlippers! Great job!!

Such fun ATCs so far!

But I'm really popping in with a suggestion for your image formatting. You should be able to fix the orientation issue thusly:

- open the photo in a paint program, whatever you like to use
- adjust/crop/resize how you like it
- copy the whole thing (ctrl+a, ctrl+c)
- create a new document/image in the paint program
- paste into the new image
- save as a jpg or whatever

That should give you a nice fresh image, without any camera data attached. It may still show the program you used to edit it, and/or the name you used to register the software. I try to do this whenever I post a picture online, although I admit I sometimes forget.

This issue is part of a larger problem about the "metadata" that is automatically attached to digital photos. The image files may include information like the device used to take the photo (even down to the serial number!), the exact date and time, and if your smartphone has gps it might even include the exact location. If you're curious about protecting these details, I recommend this article: https://securityinabox.org/en/context/01/remove-metadata

Received today from vincentvanbuck for my Harry Potter theme, the guardian of the Gryffindor common room, the Fat Lady.

And a little sneak peak of who she is guarding...

What a neat idea! Thanks so much!

Will do personal swaps, just ask!
