Got two fab cards today! Oy, having a rotten day and this really helped.
From little green dragonfly, theme is card you can shine a light thru..

That shows the detail of the bark-like edges and here it is with light shining thru...

I love birds, esp. cardinals. What a gorgeous card! I would love to know how it was created. Do tell.
thank you so much, little green dragonfly.

Next, for my color combo of white, red, and yellow, from hlillie

Really nice way to combine these colors. I adore daisies, they make me so happy. Are the white dots done with pencil eraser? thank you, hlillie!

Hi, the white dots on the ATC are from a stencil. I had a completely different idea when I started the ATC and I cannot stop putting white daisies on everything.

I received an ATC from kwality570. It is titled "Burt". Thank you so... much. It made my day!

I received from hlillie for my Little Houses theme.

This is the great card I received:

Those are cute. I am still laughing about the carrot tops coming out the butt  Grin But both are equally adorable.

Hahaha, you should have seen the poor thing before I revised the image! The leaves were a bit more stylised and it looked like an explosion of green gas  Shocked 'Hem...  Roll Eyes

I am relieved to find that it's arrived - cmarion's is the first of mine that's finished its journey so far, this swap. I PM'd kosmicgirl to ask about resending procedures on the same day cmarion3 posted later on to say that it had come in! I don't know what I'd do with myself if I had nothing to worry about...

Mostly Harmless, definitely read it! A Light in the Attic and The Giving Tree are equally as wonderful by him. He has way more, but those are my favorites Smiley

Ah, The Giving Tree... that ones seems to have been a big deal, culturally speaking. I've never seen a copy before, but I've heard/ read people mentioning it often enough. Looks like I should add to my mental book list...

That Simplicity pattern card is pretty clever, and I really like hlillie's flower card too!

I'm glad you liked him Smiley
It's a technique I picked up years ago where you super glue wires (to make zones) on a clear piece of plastic. Let dry 24 hours. The flood with opaque window paints. Let dry another 24 hours and then trim, add the border etc.
Getting the zones right is the hardest part - that or not super gluing your fingers together Roll Eyes

I love the carrot aardvark. He's adorable!
And the Simplicity pattern Smiley

Listening to the wind bustle past...and watching Muppet (the bearded dragon) sleep. This is lovely!

Wow, so many great cards!
The pattern one is lovely as usual, and the carrot aardvark made me snort coffee through my nose! Grin
I particularly like the red/yellow/green card - I love the different techniques used!

Hi I received an ATC from blupaisan today. The theme was old sci-fi. To me it's unique and I love it. Thanks blupaisan (especially for resending).

I got this card from kwality570 for my artist's choice theme.  She chose the letter G because my last name starts with G.  Now I'm thinking I made need an O from her to go with it so I can frame my initials...ahem, just saying.   Grin

Thanks kwality!  I really do love how the color worked out with the technique you used.  I tend to like muted Earthier tones.
