I come home with leftovers from where I waitress. Trouble is, they are always in these damnable styrofoam containers with lids that are not recycleable either. I have too many around the house, refuse to chuck them. I have been on a birdfeeder kick lately so did a small one.

I got a hanger out of the closet and some coated wire from a fake flower sprig in my craft box. I also took the sturdy handle off a paper shopping bag, found a skewer in the kitchen drawer, and turned all this into a mini roofed feeder exclusively for the smaller birds.

That's awesome. I hate styrofoam containers too, and that's a really creative way to use one instead of sending it to the landfill.
