I receved my package last night from lady4feet! She made me a lovely necklace with Alice-themed charms and the first book in A Series of Unfortunate Events. She picked the book based on my interest in the genres: "extremely competent characters", "jerks who get away with it because they're competent", and "beautiful writing". I have read it before (good try though!) but I liked it and I'm glad to have a copy. Smiley It's my own fault for working in a bookstore so long.

Thanks lady4feet! It's always a pleasure to swap with you. Smiley

Ahh man I was hoping you hadn't read it, I almost sent something else because it was so popular several years ago but I wanted to send a book that I loved. I have read the series several times and I think I like it more each time. Since they are easy reads it's a great way to kill a lazy day.

Everyone's tiny items are wonderful! The beaded bracelet is amazing!!

My wonderful package from dontneedaclassroom contained an adorable little hoopla, some pins and a highly recommended The Phoenix Guards, she even made a Vinn Diagram of why this book will be wonderful for me, lol. I'm excited to start it, I attempted to at lunch today but my coworkers kept making me be social. Don't they know I have books to read? My hoopla is beautifully stitched "Don't Panic" on a piece of towel  Cheesy

Close up of the stitching because she did such an awesome job

Thank you for being such a thoughtful partner again dontneedaclassroom, I love my little hoopla.

So many neat things!!! The kitty pendant necklace is so adorable. Beautiful jewelry (that beaded bracelet!) and awesome bookmarks.

Okay, okay....My turn! Check out what I got from Doxie24_7. She did an amazing job...my OTT is SO well crafted and the details are amazing. She made me a mini felt Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter and sent me Shel Silverstein's "The Missing Piece."

Just check out those details! The little tiny cork necklace and the little radish seed bead earrings. I love it!

Whistley, I'm glad you loved it! I didn't want to let it go. Haha.  As for better pictures...I've discovered it's super hard to photograph little shadowboxes. It just does not look the same as real life. I did take this one picture that kind of shows just how the different layers are... (For reference for everyone else...it's around 3.5in x 3.5 in x 2 in deep)

Thanks for all the wonderful comments! Smiley What a fun swap!

Oooooo!  Everybody is getting such fun books!  I read The Mists of Avalon back in college.  I loved the character of Morgaine.
And more beautifully crafted goodies!  What a beautiful bookmark and cool dragon egg necklace.  I adore that Don't Panic hoopla and Luna is so sweet!

Wow, there is indeed a lot of amazing stuff in this gallery. The beaded lion bracelet is gorgeous - I thought at first it was loomed, but on second glance, is that the hex pattern of hand bricking?

And I love love love the hobbit hole necklace.
