this is so amazing i need to share. i thought this might be the best place for it, if not move it.

so i've been looking for good needle stoppers for ages. my works tend to unravel everytime i take them with me, no matter how careful i try to be with them. so when i saw this online i had to try it. i can't believe i didn't hear about this before 2013, it's so simple!

all you need is two pieces of fabric cut rectangularly and a piece of rubberband. i cut mine a little bit too long for this tutorial.

you new the rubberband in the middle of the two rectangulars like so

then you fold over the rectangulars. SO SIMPLE! and fast to do! and costs next to nothing Smiley i'm in love! all my stitches have been securely set on my needles since i've started using this Smiley

here's an action picture

clever idea!

I use round cases now, but this seems faster and simpler!

I most definitely am going to try this for all of my sock knitting projects!

ohh and remember to use such fabric that the needles don't easily puncture through! or just put a second layer of fabric to the folding point! happy knitting Smiley
