I love the berets on the doxies!  They are too cute!!!  Beautiful stitching job...just out of curiosity...how long does it take to make one of those...I mean, it would take me a year probably... Grin

I am slower at cross stitch than I am at embroidery. These guys took a couple days a piece. I would stitch a couple hours a night.

Thanks everyone!

Those socks are wonderful and that pillow is beautiful.

oh Jill, I am so glad they fit!  Those are actually mock cables...easy peasy but they look complicated and do take a bit of counting and concentration! Grin  They are my favorite sock since they seem to fit anybody by just making a couple of adjustments...

So glad you like pink...the yarn was in my stash and is just so pretty...

A pair of homemade socks is a generous wish fulfillment!  Really nice knitting job, alwaysinmyroom!    Now that you have a pair of homemade socks, Jill, you'll want more!  Cheesy

Okay, I've got a couple of pictures of things you will all be very jealous over  Grin

Christmas fabric!!!  I am planning on creating a set of patchwork-style stockings for many of my family members this Christmas (which is a Very Big Deal since I DO NOT sew) so I asked for some fabric and holy crap did quaggy deliver!!

You may not be able to tell but there are so many gorgeous and fun patterns and images and there's even a pattern for a tree skirt and corresponding stockings so someone's getting a bonus this year  Cheesy

These were my very favorites and I am giving serious thought to keeping the light blue and silver piece for ME

Quaggy also claimed me for a pillow form (which I forgot to bring downstairs to photograph but it's not covered yet so I think we all know what a pillow form looks like  Cheesy) AND she claimed me for some crayon rolls:

All rolled up-
Unrolled- I haven't switched out the crayons yet for my oil pastels but I did put my charcoal and stippling tools into the other one!

QUAGGY ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF and I apologize for being so delayed with pics - it was definitely not a reflection of how much I love my stuff!!

Now I ALSO received my package from texscrapper!!!  She "attempted" a bathing towel (theoretically used for babies but used for puppies in our home!) and nailed it PERFECTLY.  It is super wide and long (and my husband and I are quite large) and she made it in nice gender-neutral colors (my husband would've dealt with it if it wasn't but I know he'll prefer this to something pinkish or purple   Wink)

Now that we have one, we may need another - the hubs bathes the puppies and then when they escape in terror, they come straight to me so we may each need one  Cheesy

Yay quaggy and texscrapper - you guys are AWESOME.

Swapping up a storm here!  Totally open to personal swaps - I am always in need of awesome stuff Wink

i received 2 amazing packages this swap and i'm so excited to show them off . . .

first, a while ago i got this surprise package from missingwillow.  i asked for any crafty surprise relating to some of my favorite shows/books, and she totally came through.  not only did she fulfill a crafty want (i've wanted a faux butterfly taxidermy box for a long time) but it's also a sneaky reference to breaking bad.  honestly, it took me a while to figure some of them out, but it's completely perfect.

my husband loves it, too.  it's going to be great in our fake hunting lodge.

next, frosty772 claimed me/my daughter for some fun pillow cases.  they just came today and they are adorable!  you can't buy cuteness like this at the store.  georgia will be thrilled, and they will go smashingly in her room.

thank you ladies!
