I have made 2 doorstops.  (Although one is only half full as I haven't enough chick peas!)

Great projects everyone, I love the creativity in this board, so much happens in such a short space of time, it's hard to keep up.

I completed my first project of 2014!

I pinned this tutorial and bought the supplies about a year ago, but never got around to making it. I found the package of silver rings during my craft room reorganization, and decided it would be the perfect project to start off the year.

It doesn't take very long once you master the square knot - I made mine while watching two subtitled episode of Sailor Moon (so less than 50 minutes including measuring the cord, and looking for my needles and pliers to finish the knotting). I chose a purple cord, which looks darker in the photos.

And here is the link to the tutorial for anyone interested in making one for themselves.

I love the look of the different charms and colours of cords - I'd like to make a wrist-full of them, so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for interesting charms!

Gorgeous bracelet, elyxandra! I love that shade of purple you used.
I really want to make one for my friend's birthday, now.

I've finished a scarf - first project of 2014 is done!
I'd post pics here but I guess I'm not supposed to since I already claimed an earlier post. There's a link to that post in my signature, though!

Thanks for the tutorial, Ffrog! Looking forward to trying it.

I have baby lovey on my list, but I've decided I'm not a big fan of lovies (more power to you if you like 'em, though). I decided on a blanket, instead.

I am about to SSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWW DDDDOOOOWWWWWNNNNNN on my crafting, though- I teach, and break ends today! Back to school tomorrow.

So many wonderful projects have been done so far.  I feel like I'm already behind.

Here's my first project of the new year.  I carved all these spoons in the last couple of days.

And here's a separate photo of three spoons that are all the same type of wood.  I thought that this was funny they all came out a different color.  They are all poplar.

These will be going to the carving show in a couple of weeks.  It's the only big project that I can do now.  I will have my surgery day after tomorrow, and then no crafting for awhile.

50 projects-shooting for 100--- 122 done

Oh goodness, so many projects!  I swore I'd keep up with them this year, then started the year with a horrible cold, and just couldn't muster the energy to even sit at the computer.  I did finally get one WIP done!  It was a sketch I'd started... two years ago?  During my swirly art phase.

#1 - Swirly Bird Art (WIP)

I'm still not sure about the one swirl under the purple bit on the chest... part of me wants to color it in entirely, the other part says to leave it...  I just don't know!

More of my "swirly art period" can be found at this post: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=430601.0#axzz2pZmGxl8Z
