The rumor (unconfirmed by police) is that the shooter was the ex of a woman working at Zumies and he came in and shot her and her new fiance who also worked there then turned the gun on himself. I know it is awful to say, but I am relieved that he wasn't there to randomly shoot people. Random terrorism is even more terrifying to me than the already horrific idea of a teenage boy shooting his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. I do not know what the world is coming to.
very sad...

In happier news I'm done crafting and will be sending my 3 claims tomorrow.  I really had a blast crafting for everyone, but esp loved the challenge of Kittykill's necklace.  Hopefully, she'll love it as much as I do!!  I have a craft fair coming up in February and this swap has gotten me all revved up for it.  Smiley

I received some awesome sewn things from rscowtown and they are marvelous. I just have to get to a point where I can take a moment to post pictures.

My daughters love all of their goodies.  Grin

I am finished with all my crafting, I just need to package it up and send it out.

Mailed out two packages today and I'll be working on A2K's towel head wrap tonight Smiley

I LOVE that the 100 round coincided with my least busy work month of the year. It has allowed me to make lots of claims this round!

Yeah, my normal work has been SUPER slow right now; it's awesome to have stuff that helps me not stress about work and money plus then I get awesome stuff in the mail  Cheesy

I have A2K's stamps all carved up and ready to go. Unfortunately my son has been sick the past few days so I forgot to package them up to send today.  They will go out tomorrow a day late Sad  I was able to make a TON of progress on mama24boyz hoopla though while watching TV while he was napping yesterday!

lol I am actually in the middle of tax season (gotta get out those w-2's!)...so this really would seem like the worst time for me to swap, but it actually relaxes me and makes the stress less for me...I had a blast!

I knitted the fastest calorimetry ever...two hours!  So, since it is early, I am going to make another for my partner...Grin...I am done with claiming...and happy with my claims this round!  I did not beat my prior record, but did tie it--six claims!

I didn't make as many claims as I had wanted because I was in like 5 swaps this month but I am happy with the claims I made!  I tried stamp carving for the first time and am quite happy with the results that will be on their way to A2K and I plan on joining in the fun next month.
