So my family draws names every year for Christmas, and oddly enough we ended up with pretty much an entire family that won't even be in town for Christmas, my sister, her husband and their 1 year old daughter.

Both my sister and her husband wanted things that I could make- and while I considered buying them- it just seemed silly to me to buy something for $30+ that I could easily make for less.

My sister wanted a full apron that would cover her boobs- she's pretty curvy so that was a challenge.

My brother-in-law wanted a super hero tie- I had some trials and errors with online fabric sellers- the worst was that whomever cut the fabric I used, cut it incorrectly- it was a mess. But I finally got it to work.

And since I had made 1/2 of the gifts I'm giving to my sister and her husband, it only made sense for me to make something for my niece. So using the left over fabric from the tie, I made this awesome puffy bow headband- (it's being modeled by my son- hopefully he won't be too traumatized by this later on)

Wow. You crafties keep me cracking up. I keep tissues at the computer, because my eyes water. How incredibaly cute. What a wonderful holiday your family will have. And the son thing is too cute and funny! Very nice job on your presents. Have not sewn much for busty people, but I imagine that was a BIG challenge, pun intended. Looks like you did good there, too. Daughter is into an "F" size  Roll Eyes. But I have not sewn for her since she was little. Your gifties all look nice. Very happy merry whatever you celebrate! I hope all goes well for all.

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.

I think these are gorgeous presents and I'm sure your sister will love her bespoke apron. The tie and headband are so cute and all of it looks really professionally made. Your little boy is adorable Smiley Lucky family!

Thank you everyone. It was so important to me to make gifts that were made well enough that I could sell them without feeling like I was discounting anything. I'm excited to send the gifts off to them in the next couple of days.

I hope your family are enjoying these fabulous gifts!  I really like the style of the apron you made, especially the big bow in the back.
