Milkeway, I like that one. That was a great insight to Katniss for the quarter quell.

Pinkdelia, that was such an omission as well. I think we all loved the books.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!

May the force be ever in your favor, Mr. Potter.

There's probably a bunch about Hunger Games I would have changed.  But I guess one of the biggest is, I wish they would have let Katniss cry out "Peeta!" in the tree after the announcement that two could be victors.  That was always a very strong point for me.

But I loved Catching Fire!  Was impressed about how true to the book they kept it.

I agree with Acadian Driftwood and milkeway, those were parts that I missed as well, but I also agree with patty_o_furniture I was surprised how well they kept with the books. I usually feel like they leave too much out of movies specifically the Harry Potter and Twilight series, but I was very pleased with Catching Fire.

On a crafty note, I've made one thing so far but have been sick since before Christmas and haven't felt like doing much of anything else. I'm thinking maybe a reread is in order while I finish recuperating.

I have one of my projects done, currently researching tutorials for a second.

I'm not attached to your world, nothing heals, nothing grows... we used to love ourselves, we used to love one another.

life is no cabaret- we don't care what you say, we're inviting you anyway, you mf'ers, you'll sing someday!

Still haven't got to see the movie! I have been trying forever it seems.  Things just keep coming up or I have no sitter. :-(  Re-reading the books has helped with the craving to see it a little. lol

I have so many ideas right now, I just have to figure out how I'm going to narrow it down! Hopefully I'll be crafting in a couple of days!

I know how you feel  Grin there are so many things that can be crafted!! I will be narrowing down some options and tracking down some supplies over the next couple of days  Cheesy

I am terrible with book/movie comparisons  Undecided I sorta speed read and get the general gist of a book (which is why I can read a book many times much to my hubby's frustration) so can't remember some of the detail. The biggest omission for me was Madge and the injuries Katniss and Peeta sustained and he they were 'fixed'.

I was very productive today. I have a few minor tweaks and I might make one more item and I will be done. I got to do a medium that I haven't worked much I which was super excited. I love hoow they turned out.
