Woohoo! I finished my first loomed project last night and I'm super proud of myself Cheesy I found the tutorial for this type of Möbius scarf on Ravelry. My boyfriend promptly adopted it. I used a variety of techniques I'd seen around, including insertions, clasped weft, double clasped weft, and a slit. The BF was confused by the slit Tongue Ravelry project page, for those interested.

It looks great! I love how the colors change midway in the weft. You don't see that enough. You didn't happen to spin any of that yarn, did you? Wink

Hey Jexxican! Nope, they're all one pound bags from Giant Tiger or Dollarama yarns, except for grey wool from my MIL and white acrylic from a random bag of yarn balls I bought at a hospital gift shop.

The clasped weft weaving is FUN! Hard to keep it from pulling at the selvedge, though.

glad I saw this --what a beautiful scarf...thanks for the pattern link as well...I have become quite interested in weaving lately!

Love the random mix of yarns and the colors are simply gorgeous
