Hi and Happy Thanksgiving! My name is Ashley, I am 25 and I am new to this place. I have been married 5 years and have a wonderful set of twins who are four, Elijah and Legend. Eli is autistic and so finding time for myself to do anything at all is hard to do.  My home life is chaotic since we live with DH's Mom. She needed financial help a little over a year ago and so we opted to move in and help her take care of her Mom (Granny) and her other son who is paranoid schizophrenic. Between running them to the doctor all the time she had to call in a lot and it was taking a toll on her job. Since we have moved in it has really helped her but my goodness I cannot wait to get out. I am ready for my life to be normal again.

I just started sewing a few months ago. The few projects I have taken on have came out pretty darn good! I feel like I have finally found what I might be good at. My Mom is pretty big in the lampwork world and has just recently been the anniversary commemorative artist for Bead and Button and my husband is a tattoo artist. I have always felt like if I do something artistic I better be good because I have a lot to live up to. I am really glad I started this journey of sewing. I love it! I am proud when I finish something and want to show it off.

I am hoping to learn from many of you. Any tips you want to throw my way are welcome. Thank you and looking forward to making new friends.

Hi and welcome! Smiley

Your life sounds a bit crazier than mine. So I can totally relate to finding time to craft, but loving those times so dearly.

Please, look around, learn, share and enjoy! I look forward to seeing you post some projects and share. Also maybe check out swapping which can be very fun and rewarding. Smiley
