Way back in the late 60's, I made a lei from rick rack. I had a pamphlet with 3-4 patterns for leis made with rick rack. One was a tuberose lei, another was a kind of rolled petal lei. I don't have the pamphlet anymore and was wondering if anyone out there has a copy of that old pamphlet they'd be willing to scan and share... Mahalo.

I did a quick google search & there are tutorials out there on how to make flowers from rick rack, as well as info on how to make a necklace, so even if you don't find the exact pamphlet, there is a chance you may stumble upon something similiar.  Wink

http://www.scribd.com/doc/118528030/Hawaiian-Leis#scribd  has 6 vintage lei made from ricrac.  I got several google hits by using "ricrac" instead of rick rack.

and the plural of lei is...lei.  Hawaiian doesn't add the s at the end.
