So many wonderful cards!

SusieApple:  I love the prickly pear card!

Avesthel: your mid-century modern card really captures the design sensibility of the time!

The mouse map is adorable - I love the different foods on it.

kwality570:  I love every single one of your monsters!

kosmicgirl:  The lemonade stand card is just too cute!

blupaisan:  I love the Jul card - the little reindeer are so cute (they make me think of Max in the animated version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas).

Rose1981: what a wonderful Gorey-esque card!

So, I was claimed by Avesthel for "Take a Mess and Make it Art". Her interpretation was spot on. She used the mess of an old paint tray and crafting desk scraps. Thanks Avesthel for being the first to claim this new theme of mine. I'm excited of what will come of it in the future!

Here's her colorful work of art:

I don't have much time this morning, but hopefully later I can go through the gallery to ooh and ahh and some of the great ATCs this round. What I've seen so far is pretty awesome.

I received this BEAUTIFUL card from gozer today. It made my whole day! And it's just in time for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who!

Aaaand, it's just in time for the Christmas episode where we say goodbye to Matt Smith.  Cry I'll always have this ATC to look at though.  Wink

Whatever happened to the ongoing hoopla swaps?

Comments for everybody!  Tongue

gozer- The Doctor Who card is tremendous. You have such a unique style. I love it.

rockingbearranch- I never commented on the movable hand, but it was gorgeous. And the "Steve Zissou" card, I love The Life Aquatic. I may have to consider some personal swaps for Wes Anderson cards...

blupaisan- The Fuzz card was hilarious, those toothpick teeth are a riot. But then your music box movable was so lovely. My mother was a ballerina and dance teacher when I was young and the card reminds me of her.

Avesthel- The Mid-Century Modern card was reaaally well done. It looks like a retro postcard for a museum!

ChameleonHound- I loved the coffee/tea card. The colors were warm and you did great collage work. Makes me want another cuppa joe this morning.

kosmicgirl- Well, there were several ATCs of yours I really liked this round, but the one that was just too adorable to pass up mentioning is the Lemonade Stand movable. I wouldn't mind a little collection of cutesy, whimsical movables like that all over my room.

Rosie1981- The Ed Gorey card was perfect. It was instantly recognizable and really charming.

kwality570- Oh, how I love to see your monsters fill up the gallery pages. I sure do hope there are some illustrated children's books in your future. The tourist monster was my favorite this round. Adorable.

JillHogan- The octopi you did were so very cute. Your style is so colorful and cartoony. The playfulness just makes me smile.

mybabyisacommunist- Your snowman looks like it could be a Hallmark Christmas card. It's so simple and darling. I love the texture of the snow especially.

And please, no hard feelings if I missed anyone! I tried hard not to and if I did it was a technical mistake, not a deliberate one!!!

I received from Avesthel for my Harry Potter theme.  Smiley

She used watercolour and ink.

I love it thank you.  Smiley

I received this amazing card for my Woodland Creatures theme from Kosmicgirl.

I love it so much!  So majestic looking.

I received this card from Rockingbearranch for my beer theme.  She drew one of the McKenzie brothers from The Great White North.

In case you guys don't know what that is, here's a youtube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsgVspgy184 Smiley  I had to look it up myself.  I vaguely remembered them until I saw it again. Great drawing, Barb!

I received from gozer for "People with Antlers". It's quite lovely. Check out this skill:

And kosmicgirl claimed me for the same theme, so I am very stoked to get these two back to back =D

LOVE the Matt Smith card.  I'm going to miss him after the Christmas episode.   Cry

On to my new cards this week thanks to Susie Apple

This is Edminton Frightly, for my Tim Burtonesque theme, which I think he would fit in quite nicely.

And a septopus (7 legs) for my octopus theme, which could fit in with the TB theme-ishly.

Thanks again Susie Apple.  And the rest of the cards on here look great!
