Jimmie helped wrapping Christmas presents and lent us a hand making shortbread houses.

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.

I used to play Tuba in school. And Now I wanna make those houses. Poppy and me have been staying inside to get away from heat, then rain, then heat, then windy rain for a while now.

I love those little houses! I think I might have a go at making some myself, they seem so much easier than the gingerbread house I was planning on making haha.

My car has near enough completely broken down on me now, so it looks like the only things Bean and I will be able to do for a little while will be things around the house Sad. We've been busy preparing for Christmas though, as I celebrate it with my family. We've put our Christmas tree up, and are going to wrap some gifts this afternoon. Pictures to come soon!

The houses are adorable - is that a gummy bear nativity in the back?  Grin We may have to do that too!

Tuba Christmas was amazing - it was the first time this location had hosted it and I think the turnout was pretty good.

Anana meets "Squirtle" at Quaintance House  Animal Rescue League where I worked this week. Fifty kitties living in a rambling farmhouse... Anana was a bit overwhelmed but had a blast. Lots of interest in my LV today...
