How to use some of all that pretty paper, the gifts was wrapped in:

It is my father modelling, he turned 90 this spring.

And here an angel:

She is made out of an old, damaged book of hymns.

I hope to see more projects from all of the holiday papers...I am planning to do a few with the cards I have received while I am thinking of them...so many of the cards had glitter, so I would hate to waste them!

Love the trees...and your dad rocks!

My project is not all the original but I am hoping it will make 2015 run a bit smoother. I know I am not the only one who does better if they have a list, checking things off is so satisfying!

I pulled this window out of a neighbors trash when they moved out. Only 3 windows were still intact, I took the broken glass out of the others and attached wire with eye hooks and mini-binder clips.

Cute idea.  Good job on reusing an unloved but still nice object Grin

Nice way to keep on track!  I love seeing old objects being re-used/re-purposed!  It takes imagination, which a lot of people don't see!

Your "to do" list projects looks very shabby chic and practical!

Look what my daughter and I fished out of the waste stream. It's made out of an empty leave-in conditioner tube. We want to make lots and make a mobile out of them, perhaps hanging from broken fishing rods. A little scary that I was able to lay my hands on an additional 3 identical empty tubes at a moment's notice   Roll Eyes

Cute project Junk4Joy! It is especially fitting since plastics are such an issue with the worlds waterways, and in turn the animals that live there. You could use other shaped bottles for different species of fish Smiley

So glad I found this thread.  I am all about RRR!    I think I might get my kids involved as well.

I think we will make a picture frame from some cereal boxes as mentioned before, and decorate them for Dad, for Father's Day.  He will love them.
