We are going to be having a party for a bunch of kids
Ages 7 to 18+ .....

we are renting a large inflatable movie screen & will be showing either Wizard of OZ  or the newer OZ great & Powerful

.... looking for ides ... simple for decorations & food
and maybe 1 game to play  before movie

trying to keep it simple & not too expensive
we will have my & my guys nieces & nephews as well as kids that live in our neighborhood, at the community center where we live  so we really won't know for sure how many kids will be there
when we did the opening of the pool party we had about 30 kids .... I think it will be approx.  the same amount maybe a few more.

we are figuring on doing green sno cones  & call them Emerald City slushies or something like that ....

any other suggestions for snacks  that would be related to the movie?

You could do a snack/dessert table in green or rainbow. The treats could be the colors of the rainbow. Fruit in rainbow colors on skewers would be good.

Have a sign that says, "Welcome My pretties."

You could have a photobooth with props. Just hang a backdrop and have someone take pictures.

Favors could be star shaped wands or bubbles or little courage badges.

My suggestions:
Personalized Water Bottle Labels in blue gingham paper.
Dorothys ruby slippers favor boxes with Lollipops, of course! You can find a free shoe favor box pattern on line, very easy.
Cupcakes toppers with all the Wizard of Oz characters.
Flying monkeys cutout graphics and hang them as decorations
I agree with kittykill, photo props are easy to make and lots of fun and I love the courage badge idea. You can add the Tin Man's heart from Cherry Jello heart jigglers.

Have you seen the the broom sticks made with cheese and pretzels? That would be a good idea.

Assume that the party has happened by now?  How'd it go?
