Adorable snowman and penguin pair...I really like the texture. How did you do that?

Homerof2 - I'm so glad you like it :] It was super fun to make!

beeker - I used the end of a paint brush to dot little indentations all over the piece to create the packed snow texture. Looking at it in the picture reminds me a bit of a golf ball, lol.

Between changing internet carriers, cell phone towers being upgraded, and visiting parents that have no signal not internet...I've been so out of the loop. Note I'm going to attempt to post these pics but don't hold your breath....it hasn't worked for the last few days. Maybe I'll get lucky tonight.

Unfortunately it looks like double boxing it did not stop my ornament from being busted in transit - I went with a snowflake theme, and it was etched glass with snowflakes around the globe and I put in a shrink plastic and bead confetti of tiny die cut snowflakes and white pearl beads for a bit of a snow globe effect and did a banner that read JOY that dangled from the topper, in the centre of the ornament, with some larger snowflakes.  I made a small hammered wire curlicue of wire to hang it with.  I packed it in it's own smaller box, surrounded it with the extras in a larger box, hoping that the extras would take the brunt of any jostling around, but apparently it did not work Sad

The joy ornament is very pretty, I like the little snowflake beads or confetti? in the bottom.
question - the little metal flowers - did you make those? if so what did you make them from?

So many cute and pretty things!  I have to say though that the wooden house that cmarion made has me green with envy!  That is absolutely gorgeous!
