Here are a few of my newest monsters.

Made for a scientist friend

Made for my friend with the last name B.  He wanted a super hero.  I think I delivered.

Made for a friend with an awesome beard

This little guy was on a 6x6" canvas.  The center of his heart is actually a battery operated light that would beat just like a heart.  He was sold for a craft sale benefiting breast cancer research.

I have a dilemma though - I have 7 blank canvases staring at me. Anyone have any suggestions on some new monster ideas?  I'm a little stumped.

I just love your work.  I have a bunch of your monster cards pinned on my ATC board.  Grin

Hmmm... now that fall is starting to arrive, how about monsters enjoying the activities of the season?  Playing in the leaves, carving pumpkins, making apple cider, etc.?  Or else, what about monsters getting dressed up for Halloween (maybe in human costumes)?

Ideas?...I love the horns on them, and the stripes. I wish I could do this style that seems so random, but at the same time detailed. How about something with a tail? Or fins, like a fish, or some things (scales) on the back like a dragon? A side view. Maybe something more girlie with pom-pom hair, or braids? Just ideas. Do what you like. I think your art is very unique and cute!

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

They are adorable and would make fantastic plush toys too. I especially like the red one at the end. The colour scheme is great. Maybe make a "bathtime" monster with a rubber ducky and a shower cap or towel or some such? I could totally see a kitchen / cooking one too. Monsters for all rooms! Smiley

You know I LOVE your monsters. LOVE them. These are fantastic. Love that scientist and the background on the red one is great too! Here are a couple random ideas for more monsters....
Due to the season you could do an Angel or an Elf, maybe even a Santa! A monster holding a cat (I am imagining it sitting on his head!) or even a dog for those poor people who do not have a cat in there lives. A hippie, one in motorcyle gear, fishing, holding a bunch of books from the library, bride and groom, or the most interesting Monster in the World (Dos Equis). A Frankenstein one (but I would beg you relentlessly for that one!). One texting on his phone (we all have one of those in our lives). Hmmm. I will think some more.
Can't wait to see your next batch. It's like your raising Mogwai! LOL!

love your new batch of monsters!  They are cute and your textured backgrounds are fantastic!

I think a group of monsters in Halloween costumes would be cute!  Things that would show off their cute faces but still show the costume...like a mummy monster, a witch monster, etc.  How about monsters visiting iconic places...a monster in a beret at the Eiffel Tower...a monster in a kimono with Japanese cherry blossoms...etc.
