Last year, I told my brother I  wanted a recycling challenge for my birthday and that he was supposed to find old t-shirts of his and gift them to me. He then got some t-shirts, a moth eaten wool sweater and a ton of old choir scarves that seem like they have never been worn... Probably because of the strange color combination. Blue, pink, purple and ugly yellow. From three of those and the rest of another recycling project I made a bag which has faithfully traveled overseas with me and can carry a lot of weight. The button is from my stash - I made a hole through the wrong layer when I attached the snaps and covered it with the green button.

Inside lined with jeans . There are two pockets, one for my wallet (see picture) and one for my phone.

Good for thrift store shopping! Today's finds:

I will go again tomorrow an actually take the bag along for more uninhibited shopping :-D

Nice bag!  A roomy, sturdy tote is essential for traveling the world AND thrifting - perfect project Smiley
