OMG. I bought this new program, DRAWings Pro 6. It's cool, but not as nice as I had hoped. Although, since it cost only 1300EUR I'm not complaining! Definately a bargain. (For those of you not in the KNOW, the software I'd LIKE TO have costs 15 000 EUR... WITHOUT TAXES!)

The first two embroideries I made by first drawing on the computer, then automatically digitizing the drawings. That works out really well, I'm pleased!

The third one I first drew by hand, then scanned. I tried the automatic digitizing on this one also but it was HORRIBLE. This one I did convert to a vector image, but apparently the lines on the drawing were too wide, so the embroidery software insisted to make them into satin stitch.... Awful. So after a few minutes of cursing I decided to digitize it by hand - dot by dot. It took me over an hour, but I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out.

Oh, so cool. I love all the details in your work. My favorite, though are the root vegetables. Awesome!

That is so cool! And very pretty too! Great job, eventhough it took you that long for the image to digitize. But once there...  Wink

That's so cool that you are digitizing your own art, they have all turned out great.
