I have been so inspired by the amazing needle-felted figures I have seen here and elsewhere.  I'm somewhat embarrassed to post my feeble attempts, but everybody has to start somewhere, right?

The penguin is from a kit (that I got on Etsy, but I don't remember the specific store), and the cat started out from a needle-felted animal book, but quickly devolved into a process of my own.

I think they are very cute! Extra fuzzy is not a bad thing with plushies. This is one technique that I still wish to try. The only felting I have done is on accident in the washing machine  Grin I think you did good for your first tries.

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.

These are excellent. I haven't tried needle felting anything bigger than a ball to poke my needles into. I like it when people post their first attempts at new to them crafts. When they get better and post their later works it is nice to look back at how they started and how far they have progressed.

First attempt? These are wonderful. Very cute, I love the kitty cat.

I bet everyone who does needle felted animals have some lumpy/odd looking first attempts hanging around their craft areas that look nowhere as good as these.

Must craft....must craft.....
