I need a fleece that is 6.5+ inches long, but of fine wool.  I know this is a long shot, but I'm putting it out there in hopes that someone somewhere knows of a fleece such as this.  I only need 4- 8 ounces.  2 might do, but more gives room for error.

Have you tried the Fiber Artist's Marketplace group on Facebook? There are many fiber artists with flocks and shearing time is coming up again for those who shear twice a year. They may also know shepherds who only shear once a year and be able to point you towards what you are looking for.  Smiley https://www.facebook.com/groups/fiberartistsmarketplace/ Good luck with your search!
