Talk about our swap here!

A new discussion thread! Let's start discussing!  Cheesy It's raining here today. Fall coming closer. Hopefully that is a good thing for my crafting, but with two kids (5 years / 7 months) seeking pretty much constant attention unfortunately there never is much time. Undecided At least they have both always been good sleepers. One of Mika's first words were "sleep". She used to grab her toy cat and toddle along to bed, saying "sleep, sleep" (but in Swedish and in the language of a one year old) several times a day as soon as she could walk. If I just weren't so tired in the evenings...

Another good thing is that Mika shows great signs of becoming a craftster herself. She is very good at concentrating on a task (Montessori preschool helped with that too) and loves crafting. She also (of course) sees it as perfectly natural that packages with stuff complete strangers made for us keep coming in the mail.  Cheesy

It's feeling rather fall-ish here as well.  Nonetheless, we are going fishing for a long weekend.  I will keep things updated as well as I can using my phone.  I will do feedback for those eligible in the July round as soon as I return (Tuesday).  The only one eligible at this point is Averia, once she receives from me.

Ooh new thread - Hiya! Hot and humid here today.

I'm struggling to finish a major sewing project for a partner who probably doesn't want it in a swap I shouldn't have signed up for, but it is coming out lovely and the partner is sweet. I just can't keep away from my computer. I swear, I have been checking for 'replies to your posts' every 5 minutes since about 7am. This is not how I should be spending my day! I need to finish that project.

In other news - I tried a recipe from pinterest yesterday and it was incredible! spread bread with slightly sweetened cream cheese, sprinkle on some blueberries, either cook it like grilled cheese or stick it in a sandwish maker. Too delicious for words. Today my sammich crafting has taken me to trying scrambled eggs and cheese in the sandwich maker. I overfilled and made a mess but very good sammiches.

I finally got some new pics taken yesterday of more of my stash to unload - now I just have to find some time to crop them, upload and write up my offerings. Smiley
