wow--fabulous fabrics...I love the rocks!

I think quilts made with blocks from a variety of people really do add interest and charm to the quilts!

The Japanese inspired quilt is wonderful and full of great images and styles!

Also, the Scottie dogs are just too cute!!  I love the background you chose...I think it is much more subtle than a plaid would be yet it still pops the blocks!  Good call!

In case anyone is still following this thread:
Unfortunately, the quilt blocks I sent to Fontiua got lost in the mail.  According to the tracking number they never even made it out of the town that I sent them from Undecided
Anyway, here are the new quilt blocks I have made to replace those that were lost. Fontiua, I hope these find there way to you.   I am planning on sending them out tomorrow.

That's crappy. And weird? To not even make it out of town... but you are a very nice person for remaking and resending. Smiley

It is very weird and EllaRain did her best to battle it out with them but it's the post office.   Roll Eyes

Sorry you had to remake the blocks. Shipping stinks! My DD#1 was suppose to receive an inchie house from Germany a few weeks ago and something similar happened to her. The German PO swears the package arrived here and was signed for upon receipt. We were home all day on the supposed delivery date; no package arrived. Now we can't even find out where the house really did get delivered or who might have signed for it. US and German postal services are blaming each other and won't tell us or the sender anything except that the package was delivered and signed for. Think the pony express must have been more dependable.

I hate postal issues...I cross my fingers each time I send anything.

EllaRain--those are very lovely!

I am working on my three blocks that I owe carolmb for making some scrappy blocks that she sent to me...they are pinwheels, which are tough for me because I am sure I must be triangle challenged...I am going to have Maremare look at them before I sew to make sure they go in the right direction! So glad they showed up!

If anyone is interested in a Round 5 after the holidays, please be sure to post here!  I may take a little swap hiatus after the tea swap I'm in, but I'm on the fence about it.

I put the scotty top together, and booked an appointment with the longarm lady at the end of December so woo hoo!  Smiley  Time to get some quilts actually finished...
