Details of swap:
Maybe cats and dogs just aren't your type, maybe you just needed some itty bitty squishy love. Whatever the reason, do you spend your days slaving to the needs of carpet sharks? Do your rats have more toys than you ever did? Do you agonize over every detail in the hamster cage? Scoff at dog owners who dress up their poodles and pay hundreds of dollars for grooming when you've broken eight sewing machine needles making Betty, Boop and Blinkie a bunch of cushy hammocks that they're just going to chew through anyway? Do you check your bedsheets every night for ferret/rat/cavy pellets/raisins before you lay down? Did you stop that useless habit ages ago and just hop in bed without caring anyway? This is your swap.

This is a ferret/rodent/pocket pet themed swap. If you don't have one of these pets, or a pet at all, please feel free to join us! There are just as many things that can be made for rodent/s-appreciators that can be made for the pets themselves. In fact, this is a 7 point swap, and at least two points must be spent on making items for the owner. This swap has a history of spoiling your pets so please communicate on how much you want to make. Bunny/Hedgehogs/degu/chinchilla/guinea pig owners are more than welcome.

Because of the nature of this swap, communication is really stressed with your partner.  Some people are picky with what they give to their pets, especially when it comes to treats. I'm going to try and cover as possible, but at least send your partner an introduction PM so that you can get to know them better. Also, as there will be over a month of crafting time, please try to check in on the swap thread once a week even if just to say that you are still crafting.

Please label Personal Messages (PMs) to organizer with title of "Rodent Revolution".  When you send, label message as "SENT: Rodent Revolution".  Send this message to the organizer and your partner.  When you receive, label message as "RECEIVED: Rodent Revolution".  Send this message to the organizer and your partner.

As in all Craftster Swaps, DC#s are REQUIRED.

Posting pictures is required in this swap.  If you believe you will have trouble posting pictures for any reason, please mention this in the questionnaire below.  Please also take pictures of the items that you send, in case your partner has any unforeseen problems posting.

Point System:

Just a reminder of what a large, medium and small are:

Just sent in my questionnaire! So excited! This will be my first swap since being away from Craftster for a few months, and I have the swap bug already again!

Our bunny currently lives with my sister, so all of us (my little sis, the bunny, and I) are so happy! Grin

Make it, thrift it, mend it, or make-do without it!

MissThing and Trekky...if you both sign up, I would be more than happy to partner you both up.

As signups progress, if there is someone you wish to partnered with let me know. Have fun posting. Post your babies. We would love to see your pets.

I have just sent in my questionnaire Smiley

gerbilgal - what adorable gerbils.  I especially like the super sleepy second picture - it must be hard work being a gerbil!

Carbine_corgi - Cute piggies! I like the trying to eat the oral syringe.  I know a couple of piggies just like that!  Wink

May I introduce my beasts... Mark Corriandergan and Jeremy

Aw I wish I could participate, but I wouldn't get feedback from my first swap in time. I've been thinking about getting a furry fugitive for my apartment at school, so this would have been great!

Just wanting to get an opinion. I've had hamsters in the past, but I don't if I want to have another hammie or have a new friend. Why do you have a hamster/gerbil/guinea/etc?
