Hi!! I made this dress from an old one shoulder black top which I cut the under the bust and added a self drafted A-line red skirt. To cover the seam I added a seperated band which I handstiched to the dress secure it. I also cut the one shoulder and created two tunnels for the red straps to pass through. The long red straps are not sewn, they are just cut and stretched to curl. It is a very simple and fast project which took only one hour to make!!

Nice save!  You can't tell that it was two separate items!  You joined the skirt and top very nicely!

The straps are just such a sexy detail!  Of course, I love the black and red colors as well...you continue to inspire with your adorable dresses!
