I received a great package #1 from Avesthel!

Perfectly wrapped packages:

The bulk of the loot:

Crafted items:  earrings (love the colors and wirewraps), dragonfly brooch, felt birdie brooch and a birdie painted on a stone!

Avesthel is a master jewelry maker and I have many of her pieces -- these are great additions to my accessory wardrobe.
Close-ups of the earrings and brooches:

Her favorite craft supplies are pencils (prismacolor!) and gel pens and her favorite foods/bev is chocolate and tea!  Right in the middle of this photo is a charming button Christmas tree!

She loves English period movies:  thus, Jane Eyre!  (We have this in common!)  Also, Memories of a Geisha - a book I am looking forward to reading!

THanks, Avesthel!  You are a great crafter and a great friend!

My package from deathbeforedishes came in on Saturday. She sent so many nice things!

First of all, this is one of the funnest looking boxes I have ever found on my front porch!

It was filled to the brim with goodies, all carefully tagged with button notes!

She made me some lovely, gardening-inspired magnets for the hobby category. I love the papers she used.

One of my crafted goodies was a needle box. This is perfect for traveling, so pins don't go astray (or start stabbing other things).

Another crafted item was a Morsbag (there was also a matching coin purse). This is my first Morsbag! I love the tea cups Smiley

And a third crafted item! (Or maybe it's a favorite?) "Home is where the coffee is" hoopla! I love it!

For a sentimental item, she sent me a Jar of Whimsies! Our first swap where we were partners was the JoW R11. There were so many fun goodies in here! (That bee girl is perfect!)

The other items she sent included lots of stationary and cards, the cutest of notepads, bookmarks, stamps, yarn (so soft!), embroidery floss, Independence Day decorations, and vegan honey (dandelion jam, can't wait to make something with it!).

Thanks so much dbd!

Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

Deathbeforedishes...I feel so close to you after seeing the package you made. Sewing, hoopart, whimsies...and COFFEE. Were like twins separated at birth.

Awesome package.

Cuppow? That's the most amazing thing EVER. Onto the wishlist. The BNTO lunchbox converter looks equally incredible. Who KNEW? I have a ton of mason jars.

So many awesome things in this gallery and I'm about to add to it! I received an awesome package from Beunruffled!

She sent me a jar of random buttons (she says she has 8 boxes full of them at home!), a magnet representing her family's favorite football team the Arkansas Razorbacks, a beautiful fat quarter in her favorite color and a Morsbag tutorial to go with it, postcards from the area she lives in, a pretty dishcloth, a neat painting of a pair of lungs, and a knitted owl phone case!

Beunruffled is a respiratory therapist for Arkansas Children's Hospital so lungs are a big deal to her! I love how she took something you don't normally think of as pretty and made it beautiful. I love it!

This is my favorite. I am in awe of anyone who can knit or crochet anything besides a scarf which is all I can do. And it's in a few of my favorite colors!

You rock Beunruffled! Thank you so much!
