Angry Having a hard time posting. This is the 3rd time Angry trying again hopeful I'll be able to post photos.
Here I go...  I got my package from Artista83 yesterday! but didn't realize it till I check tracking today and ran outside to look for it. Ugh, mail man just throws it wherever.
I opened up my my package and I found 2 wonderful dolls! I couldn't wait and took a few photos of them. Not the best but I couldn't wait to post. Grin
It's an Alien and his little buddy! I LOVE watching Ancient Aliens so was I ever stoked to have my very own! Lips sealed

Artista83 hand-sewed him except his pants. His arms , legs, and face are painted.
His head and body are of the same fabric. It's like Signs he's camouflage. Cheesy
His eyes are so mesmerizing. And his little buddy is a big hit with the my boys. One of them is trying to snag him. But his mine !!!  She sculpted his face and I don't know if you can really see it but he's  got a metallic sheen to his face .And those teeth! Do you see those teeth !!! OMG! Love them LOL
Artista 83 I LOVE THEM!! Kiss. I don't see where you would feel they wouldn't be good enough or that I wouldn't like them. I DO! They are going to sit right there next to me while I craft.Thank you Thank you Thank you! I think you did a FAB job.

whew! i was worried! i never did an alien before and i had a hard time hand sewing the shape of him! i bet if he stands in some tall grass, might be freaky lol. yeah my kids kept trying to take the lil one too! i had to hurry and get them in the box bf they ran off with them bc my son wanted the alien and my daughter wanted the mini, lol.

the alien doesnt have much different stuff on him but i couldnt think of what to do for an alien! me and anti are still working on your other "just for fun" doll! we wanted to do it bc i sooo love the poppit you made me! it is also one from one of your themes. it will be a while though bc i have to go in for my surgery soon and i am working on two other swaps also that i picked bc i know i will be able to do them in bed.

glad you liked them! huggles!

I received my doll from the fantastically talented erica_tattoos and wow, she completely and utterly surprised and amazed me.

So many details to oooooh and ahhhhh over:

I absolutely LOVE the snail - and the shell fabric is snails!

And a few more gratuitous glamor shots:

Grin Grin Grin Grin he is adorable! I never ever thought I would be coveting a gnome riding a snail but I am!!

Use what talent you possess - the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best

What an amazing gallery full of unique creative art dolls!  It makes me so very happy.

I was worried about my art doll making it to Pilar as it went mia for a bit.  But 'A Mermaid's Ride aka Mr. Seahorse' needed to go for a swim in the kelp beds off of California.  It's been hot.  After taking Junior for a swim, Mr. Seahorse now happily resides with Pilar.  I posted a bunch of photos along with my crazy creative process on the 'Toys, Dolls, and Playthings' board.

Sometimes not so wise Smiley
