I have collected a what I thought was a huge stash of flannel Crown Royal bogs in the hopes of one day making a quilt out of them, but one day I got kind of bored with storing them and decided to think of something else I could make. I've been in the middle of a handbag making craze for a while so I figured I'd make a little purse!

The outside is made entirely from normal sized CR bags.

The lining is a pale yellow cotton. There's a small internal pocket that you can't see. It's small, but perfect for a night out Smiley

What do you think?

I just love this purse, it brings back memories of my childhood, when my parents would have these bags.  We would play with them all the time.

thanks for the comments! I definitely get a lot of attention with this bag, especially at the bar x)

I've thought about maybe trying to make a tutorial for these... maybe if I have time this summer.

I absolutely ADORE this. Fantastic job and thank you so much for sharing! As a lady whose hard liquor of choice is Crown, and who gets all nostalgic as well from childhood memories of having too much fun playing with the purple, velvety bags of awesome...well, I'd love one of those bags too! Cheesy

Edit: A tutorial would be really fab, if you had the time!!

This is really cool, what an awesome way to re-purpose a crown royal bag.

Overseas as kid my mom and I use to pick up my dad crown often at the duty free store when we would travel to Singapore for my monthly appointment to get my braces adjusted.  I know there was a stack of them as my mom only used one to put makeup in.   Next time I am out at the farm I will look around to see if I can find them.  These would be fun to make.  I don't drink myself but I have friends that do and these would make great gifts for them that I think they would appreciate! ... and use....

I make soap and other "cosmetics" as defined by the FDA and in my spare time I sew.... Sewing is therapy for me in dealing with life stresses and my chronic pain.  When I hurt and can't sew, I plan what I want to sew.  I also have a great husband, three kids and three fur kids.....
