I haven't done any paper piecing in a while, but I really love it! Last month a friend of mine did a paper piecing demo at our guild's all day sew, and that reminded me I need to do some more paper piecing! The perfect opportunity presented itself when I partnered in a swap with pinkleo! As most people know, she is a Harry Potter fanatic. Enter some patterns from Fandom in Stitches and a few secret conversations with pinkleo's HP collaborator jennieingram and I had a plan!

I was going to do 4 set in a 2 by 2 grid, but ended up liking these 3, so set them in a row. The blocks are 5 inches square.

Hogwart's Crest

Lightning Bolt Scar

Sorting Hat!

For the back, I did a pop of color for PINKleo Cheesy and added little triangles in the corners to hang it.

I absolutely love the sorting hat & the fabrics you used on that panel! It's perfection! Love the fabric on the back side as well...it's both unexpected & my favorite color!  Cheesy
