My little boy has been asking me for months to make him a monster.
His birthday is next week (June 8th), so I knew it was time to finally create what he wanted!

He was VERY specific about what he wanted his monster to look like.
He had to have green hair, a blue face, black arms and legs, and blue shoes.

He's about 11 inches tall if you count his legs.
He's made of faux fur and cotton.

His face and shoes were painted with acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.

I love this guy so much, I'm secretly happy he's for my son (so he gets to live here)!

I think I'm going to have to ask my soon to be 4 year old for more monster advice in the future.  Wink

He looks like he popped right out of a children's book.  So cute.

May I ask where you buy the fur from? Everywhere I look they're all browns and animal print.

Awwww! so cute!   Someone mentioned that it looks like it popped out of a children's book and it sure does!  That's a great idea too. You should illustrate a children's book with your wonderful creations.  Grin

Thanks, you guys!
All this talk about a children's book has really inspired me...and gotten me SUPER excited about a project with my husband!

SO very cute!!!

I buy my fur off of etsy. There are sellers on there that sell the fur in smaller cuts, which is perfect for my plushie making!
You can also find it by the yard from distinctivefabric.com . I've never bought anything from them, but I've heard positive things about them! I'm sure there's probably quite a few other online shops to find it too. Smiley
