hi ladies . . .

I still haven't made a claim.  I'm just not confident that I can pull off anything on the wish lists.  I definitely can't sew, so that cuts my possible claims in half right there, lol.

so, just so you know, if you're in the mood for an awesome airbrushed T-shirt I can whip that right up for ya.  or most anything painted?  you want me to paint your name on a visor?  I can do that . . . but please don't ask me to sew Wink

or hooplas.  I can do hooplas.

I received from nostephot! I now have watercolors to work with, brushes to go with 'em, and lots of gorgeous papers to play with when I make ATCs (which is nearly every day...)
I took the two watercolor sets up to Mom's yesterday -she lives in a nursing home and is very down lately. She is the one who got me started on art. We would go out sketching so often when I was little. She went to school for art. She was thrilled to have us do a little watercolor together that day. So therapeutic for her.
Thanks for the goodies, nostephot. You have made more than one person happy!  AND it came in time for my birthday which is this Sunday, the 16th.

I really think I need to sign up for this swap.  I am a June baby of a certain age...  After reading through the lists, there are a bunch of claims I want to make.  I want to get started crafting them right away!

But....  I am not exactly sure how this all works.  I think step one is to post here.  I think that step 2 is to send in my questionnaire.  After that, I think I am lost and I don't want to mess it up. Guess I will try and hope you all will keep me pointed in the right direction!

received a wonderful package from Trekky, from Scotland! I went to uni there and feel very wistful when I see a Scottish address arrive in my USA mailbox. So she included a postcard along with my b'day card...

she gave me awesome Scottish candy... you can see that I said to myself "why take pictures when you could be eating candy?" so this pic shows that...

Kitty stickers with a note that she thought of ME when she saw them...

And the major gift... crafted note cards, all in the best theme imaginable.

My fave are the stitched ones.
Trekky, what is the print? Wood? Lino? Foam?
Thank you so much for a wonderful package.

I received my fabulous package from blupaisan today.

The package had ric rac on it!  Smiley

Firstly a super cute handmade card, so adorable!

One of the items on my wish list was a sunglasses case...

This is amazing. Such beautiful stitches and buttons and beads!

Plus more buttons (I love buttons!).

And sweets!

I am currently chewing a tootsie roll at the moment - delicious!

Thank you blupaisan, such a great package.  I forgot to photograph the pretty bird wrapping paper, plus the envelope of the card (was that ink blowing?).  Thank you, I feel quite spoilt!!!!  Smiley

I received my birthday hoop from KittyKill yesterday.  She asked if there was a quote I would like and since I turned 40 on June 19 and my fave movie is Breakfast at Tiffany's this quote seemed fitting!  I love it!

i've received 2 fabulous birthday packages and i'm just now getting around to showing them off to y'all.  apologies on that - summer gets nuts over here.

first, from trekky i got a bunny package from scotland Smiley

all pretty wrapped up Wink

a purple bunny rabbit (i really love him!) and some scottish goodies.  i sent the raspberry chocolate with my momma who is a fan of raspberry.  we all tried the tablet and i think i still have a bit of a sugar buzz.

a stenciled bunny tote - it's become one of my project totes Wink

and the postcard and birthday card she sent - thanks so much trekky!

and from lynnz232 . . .

a set of obberfabulous unpaper towels with snaps and everything!  these have been sitting on my pinterest for.ev.er.  they're fabulous.
thanks lynnz232!

Look at all the wonderful stuff that landed in my mailbox today.  It was a package from KittyKill.  I had asked for purple fabric.  She came up with FOUR different shades of purple.  One for every occasion!  And then she threw in a 'few' extras.  Definitely more than a few.  She sent some gorgeous fat quarters a well as some adorable scraps sized perfectly for one of my projects.

Just look at those puppies.  Aren't they adorable?

Eep.  Thought I posted this last night.
