I just cropped this from the form I handed in today.
The counter person pointed it out, asked me if I understood it and said that was the last thing we'll hear unless they find it.
He said they didn't have a time frame to just wait and keep positive thoughts.

They pretty much lay it out on "front street" that if it shows up, it shows. Other than that, oh well....

Let me say this:
Everyone has been extremely polite to me from usps. The help I've gotten is the help they could offer.

Perhaps we could make an addition to the swap faqs to include a card with sending info inside the contents of packages?
If there's nothing else that come from this, perhaps we can avoid further deaths...
(dramatic, but a bit funny too?  Wink )

3 Cheers for Positivity!

Oh my, where do I start? Here? Okay!

I usually add about 3 layers of clear packing tape across the top of the address area so it cant be damaged easily (plus I usually put one on bottom the same way just so I can say its still there even if the top is damaged...you wont believe how they just toss your mail across the trucks in my area!!)

To just lose someones mail and be like "if we find it yay, if not oh well" is just...wow... my mailman learned not to say that to me when he damaged some baby books that came for my daughter and baby brother (seriously!! who folds hardcover books in half to stick them in a mailbox!!) Our post office learned after about half a dozen calls from people all over the city that we like to know our mail is safe with them otherwise...somewhere else we'll go xD

Hopefully that all gets sorted out...considering the time put into crafting what was lost... I'd take it up with the postal master and tell em, find my stuff, or refund my shipping at the very least.. its the least they should do for you after losing something you worked hard on =S hopefully it works out and they find it though!!

hito no ji wa hitori ja tatenai...=)

You dont need to be weird to belong here...there's a tutorial for that somewhere!

Wizards_Pupil and I agreed that I should post pics in the gallery today.
So, I did!

I'll continue to keep my fingers crossed though.

Yesterday, 1 item has been returned to me from the Mail Recovery Center in Atlanta!!!

Wizards_Pupil and I agreed to wait a week to see if more stuff trickles in. Then I can resend the ALL (optimism is cool) the recovered stuff together. Perhaps some will go to her as well.

Positivity and nice weather rule!

That's great one item was found! I wonder why it had been separated from the rest?

Fingers crossed that more of your crafts show up soon!
