My son and I were browsing Pinterest one night, and we ran across a few cozy coupe makeovers. Initially he requested a batmobile, then he wanted a taxi cab. I decided to combine those ideas into something all is own. He loves it!

I had a really good time working on this project. It took a total of 4 days (due to letting the paint and polyurethane dry.) I used the Krylon spray paint made for plastic. It took two cans of yellow to get proper coverage, but I was satisfied with the final project. I sealed everything with traditional brush-on polyurethane. It takes longer and clean up is a little bit of a drag, but the results and resiliency are worth it.

I hope you've found this project inspiring, and I'd love to see what others come up with.

Pretty awesome! I'm not nearly crafty or patient enough for this, but this rocks.

Phenomenal job!

All we have to decide is what to craft with the time that is given to us.
