I claim A2K for a pincushion (we'll make that last claim an official hoop claim now)

My name is Teresa.  I live in Ga. with my wonderful husband of 32 years.  I have two daughters (24 and 26), both of whom I love to brag about because they are amazing women.  I  also have a sweet stepson (34) and I am Mimi to a 16 year old boy and 10 year old girl.   We share our little homestead with a pet cow, mini donkey (he's something of a cute bully), two pygmy goats, three cats, and an adorable rescue dog that I've fallen hopelessly in love with (even though I'm a "cat person").

I use swaps to collect OOAK gifts for my friends and family so my wist/pinterest reflect quite a variety of tastes.  Please read tags/notes carefully if you choose something on my wist or pinterest boards for color preferences, sizes, etc.   In most cases I'm okay with you making something I want in the medium of your choice; however, if you pick something off my Pinterest I probably prefer the medium shown unless otherwise noted.

Please do not claim me for a surprise.  I would rather you claim for something specific in case there are size/color or other specifications that you would need to be aware of. Thanks!

I can't tolerate the smell of smoke or lavender.

Anything off of the following Pinterest boards!  There are a few things on those boards that definitely fall outside of the "medium" requirement so just ignore those.  Please do not claim me for a surprise; I would rather you choose something specific.

Anything off the following boards on my Pinterest:

   *  Crafty Wishes : Yarn

   *  Crafty Wishes : This & That
(at this time, please don't claim from the "Crafty Wishes: fabric"  board)
   *  Bags, wallets, totes, and pouches

(Normally I have my "Pincushions I Want" board and my "Hooplas to Make me Happy" board listed here.  I'd like to take a break from those for a while but if there's something on either board you're dying to make for me just let me know.)

Thank you cards in a bee theme or a kid friendly theme.  I would love it if the envelopes could have a little matching something on them.

A small jar of whimsies pin cushion, the more whimsical the better (example on my "Pincushions I Want" board) You don't even have to fill the jar with whimsies, just a few things to get it started.

Goldfish cracker earrings  ( need to be very lightweight but I can handle any metal for the fishhooks)

A Billy Goats Gruff playset!  It could be in any medium but would need to be sturdy enough to handle a class of 5 yr. old children

A Jack in the Beanstalk playset!  Again, any medium is fine but needs to be nice and sturdy.

A wallet and/or card holder in a 70's floral or a purple, green, or orange paisley print

Mismatched striped knitted socks for a size 51/2 woman's foot!

Crocheted or Knitted baby anything: hats, booties, shoes, toys... there are good examples on my Pinterest and wist of the sort of things I like.  The babies that I'm collecting these for aren't even on the way yet so anything goes.

Baby Onesies:  Any size is fine.  There are examples of my Pinterest boards of what I like.

My Biggest Wishes right now are the ones below this line:

Teesha Moore style patches in any of these themes
*bees/hives/honey (no bears!)
*traditional fairy tales

70's style string art in either owl or mushroom theme.  Needs to be on varnished wood.

A weekender bag (I know this is a touch over a medium Embarrassed) in purple paisley or even solid deep purple.  A medium duffle style would be great too.  .Anything a super speedy seamstress could do in a reasonable amount of time

My daughter teaches 8th grade Georgia history.  Anything you might think of to make to decorate her room would be wonderful!

dog things:  My other daughter has rescued the cutest little dog.  He is small (maybe 13 lbs.) but very fiesty and playful.  We would love organic homemade treats, chew toys, beds, sturdy stuffies, really anything to spoil the little angel.  (Averia's making us a bed!)

fairy tale themed bookmarks in any medium

giraffe figurine, stuffie, bookmark, purse...Huh

Anything off my "Crafty Supplies I Want" Pinterest board (there are some pretty big wishes on there, just ignore those

Thread Heaven
silk embroidery floss ( I realize this is expensive so a teeny little package would be great!)
one of those needlework magnifiers that hang around the neck ( used is great)
tiny wooden embroidery hoops, these are getting hard to find
wooden embroidery hoops of any size/shape
Biggest Supply Wish wool felt (scraps are fine) (I really want wool felt, not felted wool.. does that make sense?)
bias tape makers
sublime stitching transfers for hand embroidery ( monkey love, zombies, or vital organs) ( It's okay if you've used a couple of the patterns and just send me what you didn't use from the package)
transfer pens ( I love the ones with purple on one end and blue on the other, but any are fine)
buttons (esp. greens)
stabilizer for embroidery projects
Sharpies of any and every kind and color
fabric crayons ( a little used is fine)
fabric markers (new please)
yo-yo maker (I've been making them on my own for years, but I'm lazier than I used to be and I would love the ones that aren't circles)
fine lined pens and markers in assorted colors (the ones that are best for working in an art journal?)

your favorite recipe ( gluten free or veg. is a plus but not necessary.  We don't eat beef or pork but do sometimes eat chicken, turkey, and fish)
A photo ( hard copy please) of the courthouse in your town with town name on back.
vintage children's books (storybooks or school books)
Bunny Suicide anything
cat toys/treats
dog toys/treats (for a small dog)
gluten free treats and snacks

Thank you so much for claiming me!

I claim Breegy for some bookmarks, a keychain, and a kit for her kiddo.

This is my second claim this round (1/1/0)

About Me: I'm 33 (gulp) and I'm in NJ (double gulp). I have an incredible son named Jude who recently turned 2 and a crazy awesome husband I met at age 15. I'm currently running a small in home day care in our basement, baking up a storm, and piling up books in the stack I can never get to read. I love chocolate, the ocean and the beach, books, live music. I love turquoise and red, I collect recipe cards, old handkerchiefs, tea cups, ephemera, vintage scarves, cookbooks, old books, and vintage toys. There is a lot more info in my blog or on Pinterest. I love many styles, but nothing country or overly cutesy.

Crafted stuff:
For The Boy:
- A quiet activity book with fun fabrics and pictures/activities like zippers/ties, etc. He loves cars, tractors, trucks, and trains- typical!
- Applique, screen printed/stenciled tees size 4T inspired by old rap/rock/punk groups (think Run DMC and The Stooges), poets (Love Neruda, Shakespeare), artists (Basquiat, Picasso), or diagrams and science images Or the word BAZINGA!
- A scrabble tile square pillow with the letter J on it
- A hooded beach towel - He has a brown one and a Yoda one already.
-A sewn bunny is washable fabric. Inspiration here, but it need not have clothing!  https://www.etsy.com/listing/152624636/natural-canvas-stuffed-doll-bunny-softie?ref=shop_home_active
- A light-weight summer blanket for his bed. He is blanket obsessed, but it is getting too hot for is favorites and I need to replace them with something he can snuggle without sweating like mad.  His current favorite blankie is pink on one side and has teddy bears on the other. Maybe something like this http://www.danamadeit.com/2012/03/celebrate-baby-tutorial-gauzey-swaddle-blankets.html but with 2 layers? Like an aden & anais dream blanket.
- A letter J plate inspired by these: http://www.rosannainc.com/plates-platters/now-i-know-my-abcs-plate-mug/
- A pennant style banner/bunting with the numbers 1-10 on the flags. Our daycare is sort of rainbow themed, so I love the bright mixed colors and patterns shown here: http://megduerksen.typepad.com/whatever/2011/09/oh-baby.html
- Montessori inspired educational toys (we have an awesome fabric fishing toy and an apple tree(thanks OathKeeper!) he loves, and would like more in that vein! Things that help with skills like reading, counting, matching, etc.)
- Cool wall art inspired by my kiddo pins. I have soo many! http://pinterest.com/jojobean26/jude-s-new-room/
- A plastic painted wild animal planter for his room! Like an elephant, tiger, giraffe, lion, hippo https://www.etsy.com/listing/98721838/neon-elephant-planter-true-blue-great?utm_campaign=Share&share_id=88978&utm_medium=PageTools&hmac=3baf867e9195766f9fe84728274c2ac70648694b&utm_source=Pinterest

Not for the Boy:
- BIG WISH- Does anyone work with wood? My husband would love a beer caddy! The pipe and opener additions here are too cool: http://pinterest.com/pin/152981718562544569/
- A solid color, sturdy bag to carry wine bottles to restaurants. Most are BYO around here and I feel like a dork with a bottle of wine sticking out of my purse:)
- A sign that I can suction cup to the inside of my glass front door to prevent delivery peeps from knocking during nap time!Since we have in home day care, it should look kind of professional, and say something like: We are taking a much needed rest, so please refrain from knocking or ringing the bell! Thank you, The Little Beans Laminated papercraft, needlework, fabric, etc. welcome!
- A bag inspired by this one: https://www.etsy.com/listing/73045806/sale-grey-water-resistant-bag-nylon-bow?ref=af_you_favitem
- Awesome coffee mugs, dishwasher and microwave safe! Painted, vintage, whatever! I love these: https://www.etsy.com/listing/124332036/bob-ross-happy-trees-green-stoneware-mug?ref=v1_other_1
- Funky glassware for my mixed up dinner table collection. Goblets, juice glasses, etc. Old/New, singles or multiples are all welcome!
- A hello pillow cover done in any of these shades cream/chocolate brown/turquoise/dark red/tan: http://pinterest.com/pin/119063983871296155/

- Funky shaped picture frames for me to paint and embellish
- Lace, the older the better
- Old picture books
- Fabric- Michael Moore, Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, or Freshcut fabric, even your scraps are fine! Also any other pretty printed fabrics in these styles, but not necessarily designer.
- ink pads pigment ink,  archival and acid free, but Im super partial to Stampin Up, Tsukineko and Tim Holtz (I have lots of metallics, purple, pink, brick, black already)
- Paper doilies, any size/color
- Unusual/fun rubber stamps in zetti, victorian, retro, steampunk or background patterns (I'd love a harlequin print)
- Rubber stamp carving tools/supplies (not eraser type)
- any issues of Crap Hound! Even photocopies of your issues work for me! http://www.boingboing.net/2005/07/24/crap-hound-seminal-c.html
- Vintage ephemera, old sewing patterns, old paper doilies and hankies, text pages from old books, old foreign language text (think crumbly old, not 80's old  )

- I'd love items inspired by anything I've Pinned, but please PM me in case it's something I'm making! I also have an Amazon wishlist here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/38KGTSPJ8DPOU
and many etsy faves here: http://www.etsy.com/people/jojobeandesigns
Or feel free to check my blog for ideas!
- Hot Sauce from your area for the hubs. He likes the ones that obliterate taste buds for days.
- Your favorite real food recipe (we generally avoid mixes and processed add ins)

Thank you in advance for choosing me!

I claim Banga,  tentatively for a fabric activity book for the boy

3rd claim this month, 1 being shipped, 0 received

About Me: My name is Laura and I live in Maryland with my husband, 3 kids, a dog, a cat, a rabbit and a box turtle.

For most things, I would prefer items inspired by my pinterest instead of exact duplicates.

I am a stay-at-home mom and a writer. I love cross stitch and embroidery and I have a huge wall set aside for hoops. It has had many beautiful additions from swapping, but there is a smidge of room left to fill. I am a huge fan of Firefly/Serenity, steampunk, and the color blue in all shades. Most rooms in my house are white or beige with blue accents, my living room is pale green. I need some color. I'm trying to make our house feel something like a beach cottage (even tho we are about 30 minute drive from the Chesapeake bay) but the house has more of an overstuffed, cluttered, lived in feel.

We purchased our first home and are thrilled!!  I like to sew, quilt.  I am starting to get into embroidery and can crochet a little bit.  Im very much into girly type stuff and love anything regency -titanic era. I also love 30s-40s things as well.  I am allergic to nickel.
Here are my wishes
Anything off my wist list is great!!

Im looking for unwanted rock concert tshirts!!  80s hairbands a plus!!!  rock, hard rock or metal!! !

pair of black leg warmers (for hubby) or/and a red pair for me!!  (one pair at a time is fine!!) crochet or knitted

Mediums (more can be found in my list  Grin)
~~Jewelry (chokers, bracelets, earrings but please no nickel posts)
~~Aprons!!  Even though I sew them I would love to see what others come up with!!
~~My MIL is a bingo fanatic!!!  A bingo bag or a nice seat cushion would be great for a gift.
~~New purse
~~Hand warmers Victorian Goth ones would be perfect.
~~Crazy Quilted Purse.  Or any purse made by you!!
~~Regency or Victorian era Reticule  (have received but more are always welcome here!!)
~~Petticoat (cotton or cotton blend please) either knee or ankle length with some fullness to it as I like poufy skirts !! I actually wear these a lot!! (Im 5'5 email for length) (received one from farmgirljane and would love more!!)
~~I would love some soft wool socks!!  Size 7 feet  Or a pair of socks with eyelet lace sewn around the cuffs (remember to stretch the sock a bit or it wont fit  Grin)
~~I have a weird obsession with knitted cuffs!! I love them!!  Chocolate brown, red.
~~ Anything that can help me decorate my Victorian inspired sewing room
~~ Would love a first aid kit that I can keep in my car.  Can be of any medium just as long as its a bit "fun" to look at and have. After all first aid is bad enough!!   Something really creative (thats why i asking.  I cant think of anything lol)

Im also looking for a sign that says "Please no solicitors or religious groups"  I have people of one kind or another knocking at my door constantly and it makes me rather uncomfortable.

Crafted Items~~

I love this shawl and I am willing to wait longer if anyone will make it for me. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CivilWarShawlKAL/  Im not picky about color.  Would be just happy to even have one.

**Civil War Era Cape called a Mathilde Mantilla (Think of a Civil War era Poncho.  This is basically what it is)  Here is a link to the pattern http://www.uvm.edu/%7Ehag/godey/images/s5902170.jpg  and here is an example of what it looks like http://www.thegracefullady.com/civilwargowns/ready-mades_silkmantle.htm Measurements will be provided.  Wool blend or Corduroy would be great. Hood is decorative and is not functional. It only uses around 3 yards.  I would also prefer it lined for warmth. It would be great if I could retain the pattern as well for future projects.  (I can sew I just cant figure out how to make it <frown>) without a pre-drafted pattern.  OR If someone with any drafting skills wouldnt mind drafting a pattern to my size I could play around with it and make my own (If I have a pattern to work with)

Primitive Raggedy Ann doll (An example is in my wists)

Victorian caplet.  At least waist length please email for length.

Slat bonnet or corded can provide links if needed.  Any pattern should do as they are all basically the same result.

I would love some handkerchiefs. Monogrammed with my initials would be nice too!! (received more is welcomed)

Victorian slippers.  This pattern is from 1864

Im looking for special kind of apron for my husband.  He cooks the eggs at breakfast time and is a ninjitsu martial artist.  I would love an embroidered apron that has a ninja/martial artist holding a spatula in each hand and says "Egg Master" underneath.  Fabric and colors are open as long as its durable and holds up.

Other Crafts~~~
Bars of handmade soap (the kind that is made from lye).  Lavender, oatmeal, goats milk, citrus are great however any scents are welcome!!  Or soap supplies/kit as I would love to learn how to make my own.  Plain Pre-made soap bars (cold press i think they are called) that are ready to have scents, colors, herbs ect melted and added in are appreciated too as I have young children and am concerned with having lye in the house.  <USA only>    Sad

Room sprays

Bath bombs.  Also jars of bath salts would be fantastic as well. Im good for now!! Thanks!!

Im looking for some scented oils.  I would rather these be handmade or from specialty shops and not from stores like joanns or hobby lobby ect.

Hand crafted candles are great too. Prefer either fruit and or spice scented ones or lavender (only floral scented one I like).  Im also interested in the scented candle chunks that you can melt and scent your house with.  I have received some but always appreciate more!!

Im also looking for a picture frame.  about 1.5 inches or more wide/thick on the sides.  What I would like is a thin wooden back fitted to it. I dont need the glass for it.  An old vintage frame would be preferred for this.  Im going to use it as a center piece tray for candles (if you can visualize it will lay flat on the table) I can take a pic of the pic in my book if you would like to see my inspiration.

Shower curtain.  Victorian style please!! Please contact for colors.

My 18 year old loves Jack Skellington from the Nightmare before Christmas so anything with him on (appropriate for a guy) would be fantastic

My husband collects law enforcement patches.  I would love to get a bunch for him for him.  If you live near a prison, jail or other LE facility perhaps they would let you have one???  He gets his this way by asking and they are usually happy to give him one.  My husband loves Asian things as well as LE related (he is a correctional officer) and anything relating to the park service (Smokey the Bear gets double marks lol!!). He is a fan of Bruce Lee and any DVD (he has VHS) movies or any craft with him inspired would be wonderful!!  Or perhaps a stenciled t-shirt of Bruce Lee.  He would be thrilled to receive something just for him (It also continues him to encourage me to swap.  Ya know totally his idea)

Also I would love to be able to get him a hooded jacket with a nin symbol on it!! Stenciled or embroidered (Will send link to a pic if needed).  Does not need to be a crafted hoodie.  Purchased hoodie is perfectly fine!!

Also im looking for bath tub grippers (the ones that prevent slipping) im looking for the kind that stick directly on the tub using tape/sticker.  I cant find any except for the mats
