For the recent pincushion swap, I decided to make something I have been wanting to try for a long time for my swap partner (and good friend). She likes vintage things and woodland creatures, so I made a miniature forest pincushion with mushrooms, rocks, and trees. I absolutely had to make a cute little fox to sit there. Everything was needle felted wool, and then I plopped it inside a teacup that I have been saving for something special. I have lots more teacups, so I plan to run with this idea and make a bunch more Smiley

I am so glad you posted more details of your gorgeous pincushion!  I love this little felted scene!

I received a felted pincushion a few years ago and it is one of my favorites still!

Thanks everyone Cheesy I've already got a little deer one put made, but I need to touch up the felting a little before taking photos because the trees are wobbly. I've also got a third one planned, too.

This is great. I've always loved tea cups, and this is such a great way to use them.
