I've got a few ideas decided on for chughes225. I need to do some sketching and a little research for one of them, it is something I haven't done before but I've been wanting to try for a while. I've got the supplies ready for a couple of them so I'm going to start on those tonight.

This swap is way too tempting ... I'd love to join ... miss swapping!
I haven't been quite active on Craftster lately, so I wonder if there's actually somebody out there who'd like to dance with me at all. I'm a sewist, so maybe a knitter?!
Will keep an eye on this.

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.

Started working on texscrapper's goodies last night while watching 'water for elephants'.  FYI - waiting for stuff to dry goes faster with rob pattinson on the screen.

LOL - can't wait to start on Jo_mama's items - she came across a vintage patchwork quilt top that her great grandmother made. She is sending it to me to crate something spectacular - I hope I won't disappoint!

I am working on moving my craft area to another part of our apartment, but I think I know what to make for Calabaza's final item, and I have an idea for Thrifty that I am realllly excited about! Grin

For another swap, I had the most epic craft fail I've probably ever had. I can only think of one other project that even came close, and that one at least produced a finished product. So, the crafting time I had planned to use this weekend to start making things for ThriftyLiving4U is now being rededicated to crafting entirely new items for the other swap.

But, I have a ton of ideas for ThriftyLiving, so once I get rolling on her items, it may be hard to stop!

The choices you make today determine the choices you will have tomorrow.

I've picked up a few things, have a few on order, and am anxious to start crafting.  Quaggy's project may lead to some others for family Christmas gifts, and multiples of underthemountain's will be fodder for a local Arts Festival I'm hoping to get accepted to next month.  Plus, I've got a new technique I'm dying to try!

Don't despair craftADDchick. I tried to use that paperclay once and it said you could put it in the oven at something like 225 degree for 15 minutes to dry it out. 5 minutes in my house was billowing smoke and my animals had abandoned me. Everything smelled for a week. When my husband got home and asked me what happened I just looked confused and asked why? Everything seemed normal to me.  Roll Eyes THAT was an epic fail! ....AND I crafted it better the second time too, but not out of Paperclay! LOL! You'll figure something out. That's what makes us crafty.
