So here you only participate in the themes only? Not showing of your current work?

The idea is that you stitch something that can be construed to fit the theme each month, then everyone who posts an entry gets entered for a raffle prize. The themes, I find, are general enough that you can still very much choose what you want to stitch, and it has recently been broadened to anything you want to stitch on, not just in hoops. And anyone can join or bow out anytime! As for current work, people do share their wip pics and other stitching projects sometimes. I think the idea is to encourage everyone to keep stitching! The rules are mostly for the raffle. (That's my take, others can correct me.)

Yep! That's pretty much it.  Cheesy

You can do any of the past themes but you won't get an entry for the monthly raffle.

The themes are pretty broad so like you see with this theme, the interpretations are really up to the person. My favorite part is seeing what everyone comes up with around the theme.

Finney, the little red boat is magical. Landscapes are some of my favorite things, but including the vibrant  little boat is the best. Like a dream.

Here is my take on the theme. This pattern is from the 1930's and it is called "Best Friends". It reminds me of the circus punks from side show games.

The stitched plaid is sheer brilliance. I feel like this would have been in my home growing up, and I would have guarded it jealously. Esp. cuz puppies and kitties!  Classic adorableness, kk.

Nice work Kittykill! I love the blanket stitching on the edges of the critters - is that another stitch there too to give the edge more substance?

Love it, KK! Super cute. Reminds me of the patterns my Grandma used to teach us cross stitch when we were little. Smiley

My Little Bug. Best Friend: 15 years.

Edit:  I couldnt take it, and had to fix his muzzle. And changed to a smaller hoop.
